Call (613) 828-2277
I’m nervous about the dentist. What should I do?

Tell us. Many people feel anxious about visiting the dentist, and children often do too. We’re sensitive to your needs, we’ll explain everything as we go, and we’ll make sure you’re comfortable before we begin.

How long will my appointment take?

Appointments can last between 45 and 90 minutes, so please plan your day with that in mind.

Do you bill my insurance directly?

Yes. We send your claims straight to your insurance company. Bring your insurance card to your first visit, and let us know if you have questions about your coverage.

Do you accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan?

Yes. We welcome patients covered by the Canadian Dental Care Plan.

When should my child first see a dentist?

The Canadian Academy of Pediatric Dentistry recommends a first visit as early as six months of age, and no later than one year, as the first baby teeth come in. After that, a checkup every six months.

How often should I come in?

Children, teens and adults should all have a checkup at least every six months. Some patients, such as those at greater risk of gum disease, may need to come in more often. Your dentist will recommend what’s right for you.

My teeth feel fine. Do I still need a checkup?

Yes. Problems can start without you noticing them, and a regular checkup catches them early, while they’re easiest to treat.

How do I book my first visit?

Book online, or call us at (613) 828-2277. Let us know you’re a new patient, and we’ll make sure you have everything you need for your first visit.
